Funnily enough I did a video on all three of the Blair Witch Volumes a short while ago. (having come across them as part of a previous video I did on Bloodrayne that ended up covering Nocturne as well)
I had a good time with them, and did like the Nocturne connections in the first, but wow do they go off the rails in terms of the tone and lore of the original film. The switchup of the Blair Witch not actually being responsible for anything and it all being the work of an ancient Native American demon in particular.
I liked them, and would definitely say they worth checking out if you're curious but they should probably be held in the same regard as Book of Shadows in terms of not being anything like the original and being kind of a mess even if you go in knowing that.
It’s been so long since I’ve played them, but yeah, I remember Coffin Rock feeling like it was in an entirely different universe altogether.
Were you able to find playable versions? Or did you have to just go off of old gameplay videos? I’m dying to play the first one again, but the only version I found was way too glitchy.

I found a working version but I suspect it was the same one you used given that it was all three in one.
